The couple, who have three-year-old twiinsMax and Emme, said in a ­statement: “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult ­decision.

Marc could be entitled to half her ­£217million ­fortune – if there was no pre-nup.

J-Lo, who sang Love Don’t Cost A Thing, was married to Cuban waiter Ojani Noa for 10 months in 1997 and dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003.

Lopez, 41, and Latin singer Marc Anthony, 42, said last week they were divorcing after seven years.

The couple have three-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting a divorce.

The TV power couple released the following statement to People:

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.

“It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

The couple has been married for seven years and recently collaborated on Latin American talent show, ‘Q’Viva: The Chosen.’

Lopez joined ‘American Idol’ last season and has yet to reveal her plans for next season. Anthony recently joined the cast of TNT’s ‘Hawthorne.’

The duo, parents to 3-year-old twins Max and Emme, recently performed a steamy number together on ‘Idol.’

So was this just a case of busy schedules or drifting apart? Or are certain gossip sites right about a more-than-just-acting flirtation between J.Lo and her latest music video co-star, Cuban actor and model William Levy?

Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan in the Air

Just a few days back, it was Deepika Padukone who had a free falling experience in Mauritius. Now, it’s her so called rival, Sonam Kapoor, who has taken the plunge.

While shooting for “I Hate Love Story’s” in Queenstown in New Zealand, Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor opted for the most enthralling of adventure experiences – sky diving from 15 thousand feet above the breathtaking scenery and mountains of Queenstown.

Sonam said the sky-dive was “simply so fabulous”.

“From an altitude of 15,000 feet, I was excited at the sight of the surrounding clouds and mountain peaks; from up there it all looked truly amazing! I was euphoric!” she said.

Imran and Sonam also went for a jet boat ride, but both of them confessed that sky-diving was the most exciting.

Aish-Salman continues to rock

On the eve of the release of Mani Ratnam’s film Raavan, there was a recent poll on who looks the best with Aishwarya Rai on screen. Interestingly it was her ex flame Salman Khan who got a thumping approval.

Salman bagged more then 50% percent of the votes, while Hrithik Roshan came second and Abhi third.

Though Aish worked with Salman in just one film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, yet audience seemed to have loved their pair.

“Shooting for the movie Kites was total fun” says the director Anurag Basu. He recalled an incident where Barbara tried to play a prank on Hrithik. The actress slapped Hrithik for a particular sequence and the director okayed it. But she asked the director for a retake as she wanted to slap Hrithik again.

Hrithik was taken aback when the director asked for a retake when he had already okayed it not long ago. When the retake actually begun, Hrithik smelled a rat and slapped Barbara instead. He shocked his co-star for her prank and the unit of the film had a good laughter over it.

Maybe all the rumours between Hrithik and Barbara be having an affair during the shooting of started because of their wonderful chemistry.

Kareena refuses to promote movie with Shahid

Since the time Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor seperated their ways, Boney Kapoor’s project ‘Milenge Milenge’ has been suffering setbacks. First, the film has been out rightly delayed. Next, Boney Kapoor’s plans for shooting a promotional video for the film with Shahid and Kareena went berseck as Kareena went on her size-zero spree and the promoters of the film had to give up the idea. The promotional song had already been recorded with Himesh Reshammiya and as per the sources, now this song will be shot on Shahid and a new girl.

The latest headache for the producer has been the fact that Kareena has refused to come together and share the stage with Shahid Kapoor for the promotion of the film. She is ready to promote the film but not with Shahid.

The producers of the film are in a fix with Kareena’s unprofessional attitude. Dear Kareena, linkups or breakups, professional commitments should always come before personal preferences!

Shah Rukh Khan , under a great conspiracy not just after the release of his mega movie “My Name is KHAN“, but even he was under the influence of huge threats by Shiv Sena being humble for Pakistani cricket team players. Shiv Sena (Bal Thakeray ) called Shah Rukh a “Traitor” for this and put a supporting hand to protest against SRK.
However, by the release of ” MY Name is Khan ” movie which express the tentions and impacts of 9/11 on Muslims all around the globe, specifically in USA. This movie is a close observation, being hatred of Non-Muslims from Muslims. However, Shah Rukh Khan lead a democratic role between two different civilizations and religions ( Muslims & Hinduism). Might be he was more interested to promote his own family life , being marrying a Hindu wife as a Muslim.
Now days Shah Rukh is promoting more democracy, as there is more money being democratic than Patriotic.What do you think of his democratic culture , will he be able to survive in this fusion?

Abhi in support of SRK against Shiv Sena

With Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan under attack from the Shiv Sena, actor Abhishek Bachchan says arts and culture must not be mixed with politics.

“All that has been happening over the past few days is very unfortunate and sad. I believe that sports, arts and culture should be above politics. My family and I have faced many such incidents in the past. All I wish for is peace and harmony, ” Abhishek posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Abhishek, however, made no specific reference to Shah Rukh Khan, who is under attack from the Shiv Sena for favouring Pakistani participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket.

Shiv Sena activists are seeking an apology from Shah Rukh over his remarks, failing which they have threatened to ban his coming release, “My Name Is Khan”, in Mumbai theatres.

A defiant Shah Rukh says he has nothing to retract.

“I don’t know what the issue is all about. I don’t know what I am supposed to retract. Am I supposed to retract the fact I’m an Indian but I don’t want anyone to come to my country?” he said in London.

Imran & Avantika

The biggest day of Imran Khan’s life. The Jaane Tu… star is  engaged to his long time sweetheart Avantika Malik in a grand ceremony,  held yesterday night.

Imran has planned engagement  to keep it as a close family affair. The actor says that he doesn’t want his engagement to be a “tamasha”!

Imran said, “We have invited 300 guests, mostly family and close friends. We wanted to keep it personal.” To make the entire day a special outing all the guests have been invited to a daylong outing that includes a brunch, followed by the ceremony and dinner in the evening.

There are few big film personalities who are going to attend the ceremony and their name are Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone and Abbas Tyrewala. Though ‘friend’ Ranbir Kapoor is conspicuously missing from the list.

We hear from other news sources of Bollywood that  Ranbir dated Imran’s girl Avantika for five years before Khan came on the picture. However, if this were we should forget past , and concentrate on future. Must think and pray for couples future life.

Koena Mitra’s catty colleagues may think her Turkish boyfriend is a figment of her imagination. But that’s only jealous talk. At her birthday party on Wednesday night Koena proudly introduced her Turkish boyfriend, Mete Meral, to all her friends.

Her boyfriend, Mete Meral (“Please get the spelling right,” she urges), is not just a pilot by profession but also part of a huge business empire.

From the looks of it the two are dead serious about one another and intend to tie the knot sometime soon.

Koena isn’t unwilling to the idea of marriage, but she does sound a few notes of caution to herself. “I am sure I love Mete. But he is Turkish and I’m Bengali. We belong to completely different cultures and countries. Our families have to come to terms with such a cross-cultural alliance.”

“Mete is so far removed from my world. Though he was introduced to me by a mutual friend from Bollywood he’s very amused to see our Bollywood latka-jatkas and laughs every time I show him one of our movies.”

Has Koena showed her Turkish paramour her films? “The first one I showed him was Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena because that had a lot of hot love-making scenes between me and Fardeen Khan. I wanted to see his reaction. But he was cool about it.”

He doesn’t care about what I do or about my past. He loves me for what I am.This is the fourth relationship in my life and the only time I feel it’s for keeps. Yes, I’d like to settle down with Mete provided it all works out.”

Koena isn’t averse to a long-distance marriage. “In fact it works better for me. The last relationship I was in the guy was constantly with me either in my house or on the phone. It gets stifling. With Mete I enjoy the space and distance because they make me appreciate our time together even more. Whenever he comes down to Mumbai, like he did for my birthday, we enjoy each other’s company all the more.”
