Kareena refuses to promote movie with Shahid

Since the time Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor seperated their ways, Boney Kapoor’s project ‘Milenge Milenge’ has been suffering setbacks. First, the film has been out rightly delayed. Next, Boney Kapoor’s plans for shooting a promotional video for the film with Shahid and Kareena went berseck as Kareena went on her size-zero spree and the promoters of the film had to give up the idea. The promotional song had already been recorded with Himesh Reshammiya and as per the sources, now this song will be shot on Shahid and a new girl.

The latest headache for the producer has been the fact that Kareena has refused to come together and share the stage with Shahid Kapoor for the promotion of the film. She is ready to promote the film but not with Shahid.

The producers of the film are in a fix with Kareena’s unprofessional attitude. Dear Kareena, linkups or breakups, professional commitments should always come before personal preferences!

A person who can bear Rakhi Sawant is a Veer in real terms (laughs). Well, on a serious note, my father is a real Veer as he has always faced tough times with courage and I salute him for that.

Kajol & Shahrukh Khan after 8 years in a film

The first look of My Name Is Khan, movie, which reunites superstar Shah Rukh Khan with Kajol on screen after eight years, was unveiled by Star TV network Wednesday night at a star-studded event.

The first look was launched by Shah Rukh, director Karan Johar and Kajol at the JW Marriott hotel. The promos were aired at 10 p.m. across 70 countries.

“It is one of the nicest love stories I have participated (in),” Shah Rukh said while the promo was unveiled.

The film brings Karan, Shah Rukh and Kajol together for a film after the hit Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham eight years ago. And Some of the Super Mega Hits ever in the History like ” Kuch Kuch Hota hai ” & “Dilwale Dulhania le jae ge “.

The story revolves around Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh), a Muslim from Mumbai who suffers from Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.

Rizwan marries a Hindu single mother Mandira (Kajol) in San Francisco. But post 9/11, Rizwan is detained by authorities at Los Angeles International Airport, mistaking his disability for “suspicious” behaviour.

Kareena goes size zero again

After grabbing headlines for her size zero figure, actress Kareena Kapoor has chosen to endorse Sony’s newly launched half-inch thin notebook VAIO X. The product goes well with her looks – thin and lightweight, the actress said.

“The whole size zero thing in India has more to do with people being slim and lightweight. And I am slim and lightweight. And so is this laptop. I think this new laptop is very chic and sexy and people also often associate me with these qualities,” Kareena told reporters at a press conference here.

As part of the tie up, the actress will be a part of the brand campaign including TV commercials and print advertising.

“I believe in Sony products and I am privileged that they have signed me. They believe in cutting edge technology and innovate a lot and I am glad to be their ambassador since I associate myself with quality,” added Kareena, who was hoping that the company spokesperson would gift her a VAIO X laptop.

Kareena says though she isn’t very tech-savvy, she uses the Internet quite regularly. “I use the Internet often and since I am a frequent traveller and I’m out of the country most of the time, I like to be connected through a laptop,” she said.

The new Sony VAIO X is 655 grams and has an 11.1 inch screen display. The range starts from Rs.64,990 and will be available at Sony Centre stores and retail partners across the country.
