Two Brother Killings in Sialkot, Humanity Crying : Raise your voice for Justice

I am not hurt from the news as much , but heartedly hurt the way all things responds and behaved.  Without any doubt those are criminals who brutally killed those two innocent brothers Muneeb  Sajjad and Hafiz  Mughees Sajjad . Just imagine one of your family member is somewhere at work , for exercise , for shopping or for any other activity and you are quite assured that he/she is sufficiently safe in the society you lived . Unfortunately, after this news certain doubts have taken place in my mind regarding credibility of our youngsters, elders , people , society , Law enforcement Agencies and even rescue service force.

I can say this deliberately and with surety that our country has failed to produce such parents who use to teach their children, the teachings of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W), failed to produce such society who can produce Justice which could follow Hazrat Umar (R.A). 100% sure for this, that we have been failed to produce Hazrat Ali followers like brave men who could come in front of wrong ones and falsehood for just truth.

What Actually Happens?

They were actually going through Buttar village for playing cricket. And , one of person claimed and shouted those are the dacoits going who killed his brother few days before (in Buttar Village). And , the whole mob started to follow them.

When disorderly riotous crowd of people were after them , two brothers steps into 1122 Rescue Station for protection. But they were unlucky to receive any type of protection from those persons whom duty been marked with the name rescue. Mob took such a barbaric action towards them as you have seen.

On Sunday, August 15th, 2010 two young brothers at Sialkot; Muneeb Sajjad, a student of 9th grade and his elder brother Hafiz Mughees Sajjad of Intermediate were brutally, animally clubbed to death in daylight by a heinous local mob consisting on 5/five amidst a circled crowd- and that’s just not it- and in the shameless presence of multiple law enforcement & rescue agencies i.e. Police and Rescue 1122!

People liked to be a spectator more than to be protector!

A substantial crowd gathered there and watched the way they torture upon innocent persons , without being noticed or having wished to know whether these are really dacoits or innocent. Everything was happening moving , snaps , recording from cell phones. I am actually amazed from those hearts , were they really hearts or souls or something else?

Not a single person seemed to be resistant in that event , even not a single person shouts to stop this act. They were enjoying without knowing that one of the boy holds Quran in his chest and other is too  young and is not eligible for even FIR.

Police plays worst in the history of Pakistan

Police plays his role as a supporter of those criminals ,  the DPO was present at the scene of the crime  but still made no effort to stop the youths’ massacre. Total nine Police officers were present at that spot. Whole Rescue center was beside that. 100’s of people were just watching.

Its not the matter that someone killing was very strong , even they were very young , but Law enforcement agencies did nothing  and just nothing!

Response after 5 days and Arrests being upto 14

Addressing the media in Sialkot, Rehman Malik said the culprits involved in the heinous crime would be duly punished. He appealed to the citizens of Sialkot to come forward and provide any information they had regarding the incident. He added that authorities have compiled a list of names of those under investigation and the federal government will be providing support in terms of intelligence and logistics as investigations continue.

Till now about 14 arrests have been made. Including Police officers , Waqar Chauhan former DPO has been arrested and the notification for Chauhan’s arrest states that the Former DPO was present at the scene of the crime  but still made no effort to stop the youths’ massacre.

The arrest was ordered by Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

In a related development RPO Gujranwala Division, Zulfiqar Cheema, has been transferred from his post.

President Asif Ali Zardari

President Asif Ali Zardari has also taken notice of the incident and issued a statement on Saturday, condemning the killing of the two young brothers. The president has also asked for an immediate report, ordering an inquiry into the murders. The presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar said that the president was upset over the sad episode and firmly believed that “such an act of infamy, shame and brutality should not go unpunished.”

Request from the victims Family !

Mother of the two sons: “I want culprits to be hanged in the same chowke where I my sons were hanged”

Father: “Just want a justice from Allah ”

Grandfather: “I am hoping the best justice in this regard and, please take care of your children there are still wild beasts living who are even more brutal than animals towards animals.”
