iPad becomes pain for Microsoft Corporation

Steve Ballmer made an interesting statement about Apple’s devices, as if he got panicked because of iPad. However, what is not seen yet, the concise way of approach.

“They’ve sold more than I’d like them to sell” – said Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer in his speech and at the same time he admitted that Apple did interesting things with iPad. Though, Ballmer still didn’t acknowledged the company’s biggest mistake, the chaos around the Microsoft distributed operating systems.

You may blame Apple but one thing is for sure, that all of their products are driven by one operating system, the iOS. By contrast Microsoft is presenting 6-7 products per category – namely in categories like cellphones, touchscreen table computers  and media players – which are not compatible with each other at all most of the time. If we compare to Apple, in the cellphone market Microsoft is miles behind as the company’s UMPC’s failed and the media players are not even worth to mention.

Ballmer promised that the table computers will soon catching up and the WinPho 7 will become very successful by selling millions of it and besides that X-Box is the most successful console platform, having  big supporting community behind it.

Anyway, it’s possible that Microsoft’s unsuccessfulness may result in the fail of Ballmer too, because investors are impatient.
