Facebook Email Virus can Steal Passwords [CAUTION]
Hackers have flooded the Internet with virus-corrupted spam that targets Facebook estimated 400 million users in an energy to stealbanking passwords and collect other delicate information.
The emails tell recipients that the passwords ontheir Facebook accounts have been reset, urging them to click on an attachment to acquire new login credentials, according to defiant-virus software maker McAfee Inc.
If the attachment is opened, it downloads some types of malicious software, counting a series that steals passwords, McAfee said on Wednesday.
