Brittany Murphy Dies at 32
Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, after her mother had found her unconscious in the shower, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was only of 32.
It is reported that a call went out to 911 from Murphy’s Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to save her were not successful. A spokesperson for Cedars Sinai Medical Center confirmed, that Murphy died at the facility Sunday at 10:04 a.m.
The actress’s rep, Nicole Perna, said in a statement Sunday afternoon, “In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.”
In addition to The White Hotel andClueless, the Atlanta-born Murphy costarred in 8 Mile with Eminem, and Girl, Interrupted, with Angelina Jolie. Her first Hollywood job, at age 14, was as the star of the series Drexel’s Class.
In May of 2007, she married her White Hotel director, Simon Monjack.

Angelina Jolie is a busy mother. According to a statement given by the sultry Hollywood actress to the media, she does not even have the time to take bath! While most of her fans will be thinking that it is her film and showbiz projects which keep the actress busy, they will be surprised to hear that it is her kids which keep Angelina Jolie busy throughout the day. In a statement to the media, Angelina Jolie says that her brood of six children do not allow her to spend even one second aloof from their group while she is home, therefore she does not even get the time to take a long relaxing bath!
However this does not mean that Angelina Jolie is tired of so many kids around her every time she comes home. On the contrary, the actress says that she is open to the idea of having more children in the future.
Angelina Jolie is the mother of six children. Three of them have been adopted from various parts of the world, and three are biological from her relationship with partner Brad Pitt. The actress has said time and again that Brad Pitt is a very supportive father and does not make her feel the pressure of raising six children.
Konkona Sen Sharma became a mother of a baby boy yesterday, early morning at a South Mumbai hospital.
They are still debating the name of their son. The couple will visit a temple after the new mom is discharged from the hospital by the end of this week.
